Pond Care Bio-Filter Booster is a highly concentrated suspension of bacteria that have been specifically selected for the development of biological filters in ornamental fish ponds.

Once a pond's biological filter is established, regular use of Bio-Filter Booster keeps it working efficiently. Bio-Filter Booster helps break down harmful organic compounds that inhibit the activity of the biological filter, as well as those that lead to ammonia and nitrite poisoning of fish, low oxygen levels, and low pH.

Directions For Use:

Spring Start-up & New Ponds: Add 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) of Bio-Filter Booster, for every 25 US gallons (95L) of pond water directly into the biological filter, once a week for 4 weeks or until the water test for ammonia & nitrite stay at optimal levels. After the first month, follow directions below for "Established Ponds."

Summer Directions: Add one teaspoon (5 ml) for every 25 US gallons (95 ml) of pond water directly into the biological filter once a month. If water testing indicates dangerous levels of ammonia or nitrite, revert to "Spring Start-up" directions while corrective measures are taken.
